“BSA Owners club Coventry we have had many owners of old motor bikes wanting to know whether to separate the number plate from the bike or sell it with the machine and in any many cases it is a dificult one to answer. Many purists argue that the motor cycle is worth a lot more with all the original numbers and plates all matching. This might be the case if you have a BSA Goldstar but not necessarily the same if you have a BSA Bantam. We asked the team at number plate valuations to value six different motor bikes, we were very suprised to find out that two of the least expensive BSA Bantams had private number plates on them 3 times the value of the bikes, so in those cases it would be worth seperating the registration numbers from the bikes. We now have two extremely happy BSA owners, thanks to the free valuations given.
